CONSORTIUM
The MAGENTA project aims to create a new generation of Ka-band Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs). These circuits will improve energy efficiency and boost the performance of 5G-FR2 networks and LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite communications.
One key challenge is improving massive MIMO technology and Active Phase Array Antennas (APAA). These technologies help direct signals more efficiently, improving connection quality while using less energy.
Working together with leading partners
The MAGENTA project is a joint effort led by MACOM, bringing together experts from both the public and private sectors. The collaboration with MACOM, CISTEME, XLIM, Nokia, and Wupatec will drive semiconductor and telecom innovation forward by bringing together advanced semiconductor manufacturing, improved RF amplifier technology, and new integration solutions for future communication systems.
OUR SOLUTIONS
Combined efforts that ensure first-pass success
Wupatec’s two pillars reside in its strong digital and analog knowledge. By having expertise in both fields RF and digital, we ensure DPD friendliness, or the amplifier’s behaviour can be anticipated during the design phase towards its final environment. Let’s work together.
