Joining the 6G Revolution: Wupatec and the SNS JU Call 2026
With the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) launching its 2026 Call, Wupatec is officially opening its doors to strategic collaborations for Stream C-01.
The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) is a European public-private partnership aimed at securing Europe’s leadership in 5G evolution and 6G development. Funded under Horizon Europe, it coordinates research and innovation to establish global standards, enhance digital sovereignty, and build the next generation of high-speed, secure communication infrastructures.
For Wupatec, this represents a unique opportunity to integrate our cutting-edge RF expertise into the backbone of Europe’s next-generation networks. Specifically, we are looking to join a consortium under Stream C-01: SNS Experimental Infrastructure.
Why Stream C-01?
The C-01 topic (official link here) focuses on large-scale experimental platforms. These platforms are designed to host diverse technologies and validate 6G use cases in realistic environments. The C-01 stream is for large consortia where Wupatec plays a specialized role as a technology provider (RF front-ends, Digital Front-End).
We are looking to partner with:
Universities & RTOs: For foundational research and methodology.
Large Vendors & Integrators: To build the overarching platform.
Operators & Verticals: To provide realistic 6G scenarios and use cases.
How we contribute
Our expertise fits perfectly into three strategic areas of the call:
Technology Building Blocks: We provide high-efficiency RF hardware and advanced signal processing to be integrated into the platform.
Specific 6G Experiments: We aim to validate our solutions (moving from TRL 4 to 5/6) in scenarios like urban small cells or satellite-to-ground links, measuring critical KPIs like energy efficiency and throughput.
Platform Extension: By integrating our unique test and measurement tools, we make the European platform richer and more valuable for other experimenters.
